mecroppedjulz craft supplies is run by me – julz, and I don’t have any employees, so you will always get a personal service.  I work from home, in rural Wales, where I have been lucky enough to have been able to find a very small cottage with a large garden, so I can grow some of my own food, and keep chickens.  (And bye the way – the photo I use as my gravatar is an old one, but everyone recognises it, from my blog, so I’m afraid I’m still using it!)

I have been selling craft items, some of which I make myself, and craft supplies, for over 30 years.  Hopefully you will find this site professional and easy to understand – if you have any difficulties, please let me know by visiting the TALK TO ME Page.

I will always try to send out your order promptly, however life happens and whilst some days, the orders will go out on the same day,  sometimes, it may be two or three days before your order is posted.  See the ABOUT Page for more information.

I will, of course, send you an email to let you know when your order is on its way! If you need something urgently, please check with me first before ordering!


I have tried out various ways to give fair postage rates for the UK and International Orders, but no system that is easy to set up, does everything I want it to do!

I have ended up setting flat postage/shipping rates for the 4 Shipping Zones covered by the Royal Mail .  This has some drawbacks, as it is set to cover the small parcel rates, and I appreciate that if you just want one small flat item that will fit into a small envelope, the flat rate may be excessive.  Please TALK TO ME before you confirm your order so that I can find a way to adjust this for you!  In some cases, I can refund the overcharged amount via Paypal.

Should the order contain various large,  bulky or heavy items, I reserve the right to contact you after you have put in your order, if the flat rate is substantially inaccurate, to adjust the shipping.

I send most UK small parcels out 2nd class, using Royal Mail – and add a tracking service.  Some parcels will be delivered by a courier service which also includes tracking.

iuINTERNATIONAL SHIPPING:  Flat Rate  is charged no matter how many items you want to buy, (please see the note above)




For International Orders, I normally use the Parcelforce Worldwide Service.

Because of the cost, TRACKING IS AN OPTIONAL EXTRA.  UNFORTUNATELY, if you do not add tracking to your order, I will not be able to offer you any compensation if the order is lost.

If your order is valuable, I would strongly advise you to add Tracking to your order.  You can do this by going to the special listing HERE.

I AM HAPPY TO TAKE INTERNATIONAL ORDERS FROM MOST PLACES – in fact half my orders usually are from all around the world.

There are a few countries – those which might prove difficult to ensure you actually get your order – that I have temporarily blocked.  If you find that once you have put your address into the system, it tells you that you cannot order – please let me know by visiting the TALK TO ME Page.  If you are happy to take the risk, then I will be happy to send you your order!  However, in these circumstances, I cannot take the responsibility if the parcel does not arrive, and will not offer you a refund.


All payments will be through PAYPAL which gives both you and me some safeguards, and the only cost is to me, as Paypal takes a percentage of the value as their fee.  They also handle the exchange rates for International Orders.

You don’t need to have a paypal account to use this service, which can deal with all types of card payments.  Payments are approved at checkout, although in some cases, your card will not be debited until the order is dispatched.  You can cancel your order as long as it has not already been shipped.

Under the Data Protection Act – All PayPal transactions are subject to the PayPal Privacy Policy, and your personal data will not be shared elsewhere without your specific agreement.


If the item arrives broken or faulty I will issue a refund, upon photographic proof.

If you want to return an item, within 14 days of purchase, you may do so, and I will issue a refund – however responsibility for return postage is the customer’s, unless otherwise agreed.



This site is run by WooCommerce and as it is a retail site, by default, it keeps a record of your order, your address, email address and any other information to allow me to send your order.  This information is private and is not used for any other purpose.

I currently send my own newsletters – look out for an email heading of newz from julz!

These emails are written and mailed by me with no other organisation involved, and are often full of mistakes and messy layouts – smile.  Some time after you have placed your first order with me, I will send you a notification, with the current newz from julz, and at any time you have the choice to unsubscribe to my mailing list and I will delete your email address, and any other information from my private contacts file.
